This project orbits around the meaning of “bridge” as a means of communication and connection between different physical spaces. The opportunity to transform the bridge from a typically urban element into an architectural one was provided by the very vocation of Omba, a leading steel construction company. In particular the bridge building, which will house new offices, is made up of two low-ended bodies which act as support structures and by the reticular body resting on them. Creating complicity between the internal production system and public space outside, the idea is to turn production into a new stage for the observer/citizen, and to turn workers into new actors. All in all, this project is the opportunity to make a declaration of absolute modernity which proudly lifts the image of Omba in the world.
