In Buddhist philosophy the concept of cleanliness is expressed by the term "jyo", opposed to term "fujyo", a synonym for impurity. The air space characterising the objects of the Quadra series is a statement of this detachment. A physical and conceptual separation between the purity of the levels of use and the impurity of the level in contact with the ground. The Quadra group associates this philosophy of geometrical composition with its adaptability to small spaces thanks to its compactness and the possibility of squaring the chairs away underneath the table.
