Ritmo is made with a mdf base as well as alder and obeche. The latter is undoubtedly the finer of the two woods. The trunkof the trees in the central-west African rain forestes it comes from can reach a two-metre diameter and has no branches in the first thirty metres from the ground. Which means that its wood has no knots. It is particularly appreciated because of its extraordinary lightness and resistance to heat and humidity.
